Family Court Model

We are involved in a partnership with Dr. Bill Doherty from the University of Minnesota to change the culture of divorce in America. (Click here to read an endorsement from Dr Bill Doherty.)

We are seeking to do this in two ways. First, our founder, Dr. Kenworthy, and several of our associate trainers have been in a "Think Tank" with Dr. Doherty for over a year to develop high impact practices for the faith based community. Our goal is to produce a manual and video material that can be used to educate leaders in the faith based community in more effective language and practices in saving marriages on the brink of divorce.

Secondly, Hope for the Hurting Home serves as the faith based partner to Dr. Doherty's team in providing crisis marriage counseling to couples who have filed for divorce in Hennepin County. In that capacity we have seen marriages saved for couples who have in fact filed for divorce!
